Stapleford Town Council has said goodbye to its longstanding Town Clerk of 23 years, Margaret Downie and welcomed Isobel Greenhalgh, as her successor. Isobel, (left), joins the Town Council following a long career as a School Business Manager.
In her spare time, Isobel enjoys walking, travel and spending time with her family and is looking forward to the new challenge presented by Town Clerk.
Margaret, (right), following a very stressful year is looking forward to her retirement. Margaret retires from a career in local government spanning 37 years, via Glasgow, London and of course Stapleford!
